Happy holidays everyone!

Work is eating my head. Will have 50 hrs by end of Saturday.

Hopefully will be back on the radar soon. Not much time for things other than sleep, eat and work right now.

In other news, 11/01/08 + insurance kicks in + doctor visit = happy Deb (8 more days..can't wait)

1) Celebrated our second wedding anniversary last night (for reason why we didn't celebrate on the 7th see #2 below). Melting Pot was wonderful. We got lots of tasty food, a nice card and two roses from the servers.
2) New job is eating my head, but hey I'm working. Lots of OT going on right now cause' its annual enrollment time. I have to work this Saturday, this Shadowmoor weekend. It will either be half event for me or no event. But I need to work, and we can use the extra funds. Resumes will be going out again this week. We'll see if I get a better offer or at least "street cred" with the current company for a better permanent job once my contract is over.
3) Trying to get health insurance. Choose from column A or column B. Its not going the way I want it to. *insert head banging now until morale improves*
4) Making decisions on who gets my vote in November. Worried like everyone else about the financial crisis. Gas is mid-expensive and we can find it here, but places aren't selling the premium stuff. I hope my 401k still has something in it by next quarter. EDIT...Just read a yahoo news story that its "not real money". Well spit I say. Maybe by the time I retire my fake money will be there again.
5) Got TONS of housework to do. Apartment still a bit "un-moved in". Need to work on that.
6) The Bruin got me a fish tank. Now to set it up and get fish.
7) My Draenor hunter is now level 70, with a flying machine. Now the little peons need work. Can't wait for the expansion in November.
8) Nothing to post at this time for the Animehealer Anthropology Update. Will have to start doing that again soon.
9) Thinking about grad school, especially since current job is crazy. One college up here offers M.A. programs in museum studies as well as certification programs in museum studies and historic preservation. Will be researching these options soon, for 1) job availability in NC and GA, 2) salary range and future job growth trends and 3) what do you need to do to get said job i.e. do I need any additional education past B.A. to get my foot in door/decent pay grade and benefits.
10) Need new car tags, for both vehicles. Joy.

Today, I did something that I'm very proud of.

Today, I donated blood for the first time.

Given that I'm still wary of needles and such I consider this a GREAT accomplishment on my part!

Yes, I know I've been slack lately in updating this journal, but I must post this. Having seen the play myself last Saturday, I'm sure that if I don't post this UGA will revoke my sheepskin.

For those who do not care for UGA football, the SEC or American football in general normal Animehealer posts will resume once I decide to stop just lurking on my Livejournal. Cheers, Anime.

Hey all, I'm moving my household to Kernersville North Carolina on Sunday July 13th. However, my love will be in New Hampshire for his first summer of grad school.

I will need help on Saturday July 12th to load the truck from our storage unit and help on Sunday July 13th unpacking at our new place. I will feed whomever can help, in either direction.

Yeah, I sort of jumped off the face of the earth again. Either that or I was kidnapped by kobolds.

Father-in-law's not doing so hot. I hope he can make it to late July, but that might be pushing it. My dear Bruin is in North Carolina spending quality time with his father and the family.

Moving plans are dragging along. Strangely my mood and drive are mirroring our relocation plans. I've felt stuck in a trap of numbness about alot of things. My right foot is tender all the time now, perhaps from working on my feet. I take forever to fall asleep, and then I sleep too much when I do fall asleep. My dreams are bizarre and frighteningly realistic, involving conflict with people in varying degrees.

I believe my subconscious is yearning for normalcy. If that's the case, I can't blame my subconscious one bit.

My foot is feeling better. Turns out I had the wrong shoe insert. Working on the sleep issues, but the dreams seem to have stopped.

It's 2:13 am and I can't sleep. Too worried right now.
